I'm not sure whether or not this is going to work. I've done several blog entries since the last one posted, but there is something wrong with my site and it is impossible to get it to publish! We'll see if it works this time. If not, I'm not going to be happy. Anyway, let's do a little update here since it's almost been a year since this has published. I've basically lived out my junior year. I am done with school, except for finals. Tomorrow, Monday, I have two finals: Chemistry and French. Chemistry is going to be a killer. Not because chemistry itself is a difficult course; it is indeed the exact opposite. I got stuck with a very...incompetent teacher. So much for a euphemism! It's only her second year teaching, so I'll give her that. Chemistry is also a very, very difficult course to teach. Nonetheless, her class average grade is a D or lower. I'm not sure if it's even as high as a D. No one, absolutely NO ONE in the class has an A. One person has a B. The rest, God knows. I'm not quite sure what I have right now after turning in revisions and such, but I'd hardly predict that I'd be pleased. Anyway, this teacher isn't so good at teaching, and I don't have any idea whether or not I'm going to do well on the final. Half of it's a project, which I have a great chance of doing well on. Next, is French. French'll be alright. No huge amount of stress there. Tuesday, I have two more finals: World History, and Advanced Algebra. Those'll be fine. And then I'm done! Yes, I'm done with my junior year (FINALLY) on Tuesday. Whoohoo! Then, I can do whatever I want! I've plans of getting a job, so we'll see what happens. June 14th (the day Maike leaves to go home) I'm going to Mexico. It'll be a day of mixed emotions: Maike's going home, so we'll be sad, but we'll be happy since we're going to Mexico! I just bought a really cute swimsuit for Mexico and the tan I plan on getting head start. Hopefully I'll come back black, not red. We'll see!
