Wow, I love pineapple. I think I could eat six pounds of it in one sitting. Not that I'm going to try.

I also love my new classes. I wake up every morning, thinking, "Yeah, it's freaking early, but it's okay because I get to go to Microbiology and Biology of Organisms and Literature today!'' Seriously. It makes it a lot easier to drag my lazy butt out of bed, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier to sit down and stare at paper and symbols for hours at a time. When the symbols are to help me understand microbiology, I get excited. And therefore, I am happier and hopefully will be more successful than last semester. Well, I'm sure I will. If I don't I will streak through downtown Fort Collins. I promise.

I had a good weekend too. Too bad the Broncos lost, but it's a good thing I'm not like my dad and my life doesn't actually revolve around professional sports. I went to a friend's birthday party and had some good times, and met some cool people. I was the DD as usual, which is always fun because I get to drive loud drunk people home. Well, they really weren't bad this time. But they are always entertaining nonetheless.

And the people at the party were exceedingly entertaining. There was a comfy couch that was really huge, but not huge enough for all of us, so we sort of made a giant people pile on it and socialized. It was great. I'd just turn to the guy sitting on top of me, and say, "Hey, I'm Jessica." And then we'd talk. A rather unconventional way of meeting people, but it was fun.

Oh! And I went shopping. I am turning into such a girl. In highschool, I was one of THOSE girls that rolled out of bed, tied my hair up without brushing it, and wore sweats to school. Yes, where there were boys. I honestly didn't care. Not to mention, I hated shopping. Well, now I do enjoy it (as long as it's not some eternal marathon), and I bought two pairs of earrings. Yes, I bought myself jewelry! And I'm actually wearing one pair. I like them--they're pretty. And I am wearing halfway decent clothes, too--cute jeans and a formalish lavender blouse. Unlike highschoolers, I don't do it for the boys...I couldn't care less about what they think about what I'm wearing. I just think it's fun.

Oh! And I have to check up on my new year's resolutions. For two days in a row, I totally caved and ate cookies. But since then, I haven't had any, and just because I failed once doesn't mean I'm dropping the resolution altogether. So I am still in no cookie mode and succeeding for the most part. Working out...uh...I started yesterday! LOL. But I am going today. I am making sure I do. Every time I do, I feel so great that it's a lot easier to keep going after that. The key is to NEVER STOP!

Oh! And has anyone seen What the Bleep Do We Know? It's a great movie. It described what I already believed, but it was nice to see that other people believe the same thing and they have tons of facts and studies and freaky amount of education to back it up. (The people in the documentary are all Ph.D's or M.D.'s...and some Ph.D's AND M.D.'s) I highly recommend it, even if you think it's a bunch of B.S--the least it can for for you is elicit thinking--which, I swear is a good thing!

All right, I'm off to the library to get some nonfiction books that can either support or reject my current ways of thinking, and then I'm heading to the gym. Au revior!

Extremely happy to hear that you are enjoying school.

I need to blog soon. I promise that I will.

Love pineapple eh? I can make a pizza that will blow your socks off. Many people say pineapple does not belong on pizza, and I have converted many nonbelievers.

=P

I saw a movie recently called Kinky Boots. Some indy movie that I saw at Sundance. I would not be suprised if it gets some big screen showing. I enjoyed it greatly. Check it out if you ever get a chance.

Enough commenting. I have chores to do. :(
