Today was sooooo hilarious. For Father's Day, we did a lawn-mower race. Can you imagine that? All the little Daddies and their macho lawn-mowers lining up, and heading out for some fine and dandy racing. Ahhh! I'm talking in fragments again! Oh well. Anyway...Dad raced his lawn mower, which is a six-speed, 15 horsepower mower. Some people brought in twenty horsepower mowers, and one guy even had a '61 John Deere tractor. That was intimidation all the way. So...guess who won? Dad did! Yay! Yahoo! Annie, Jalena and I were at the finish line screaming our heads off for him... (Actually, they were quietly cheering, and I was screaming my head off by myself) and it was some fun stuff. You know what was adoreable? This little kid I babysit named Austin (who is sooooooo cute...one of the blonde-hair-blue-eyed cuties) sat on his dad's lap through the race. They got second place. Anyway, he and his dad have this amazing bond that is as warm as oven-fresh biscuits, you know? He was so proud of his daddy, and so happy that he got to be with him during the race. Oh...and he waved at me every time they drove by. He is going to grow up to be a decent kid. For sure. Anyway, I'm off to go finish my equation...still got lots of calculations to plow through and such.
