Wow, I haven't updated in forever and a day. Honestly, it's because I got really sick for a couple weeks. And when I'm sick, I don't do anything, so I had nothing to write aobut. I had the flu, then I got a secondary bacterial infection that gave me a sinus infection and pneumonia. So yeah. Yay for it being bacterial though, because that means I can kill it off with antibiotics!

So I'm feeling better now. This weekend has been really fun. Friday night was a crazy party night...and yes, it was too crazy to post details publicly! But it was great fun and a night I will remember for a long time. Last night I went with my friend Amy to help with an auction to raise money for the Rocky Mountain Raptor Center. I was a busser, so I thought that it was going to just be a boring night of hard work. It ended up being really fun though! There were a lot of really cool people there, and the presentation was quite the tear-jerker! They also had birds on display--Bald Eagles, a Peregrine Falcon, a Great-horned owl, and a Hawk. No picture could ever have prepared me to see them in real life...they were so breathtakingly beautiful, and I know it sounds corny, but they really were! They are such magnificent creatures...amazing. It was a great experience seeing them. I really wish I had brought my camera so I could remember the event even clearer than I do now. Oh well. I'll still remember it forever and for always!
