Well, I suppose it's time for an update--I take forever to get around to these things. I have been uber-busy, if that is anywhere close to an excuse.

Yesterday was Footbrawl, run by none other than us girls of Kappa Alpha Theta! Most fraternities and sororites have a particular philanthropy, and then a philanthropy event. Ours is CASA, Court-Appointed-Special-Advocate. CASA is an organization that basically helps kids through the court system. Kids can often get lost in the court system, especially if they have to testify against their parents regarding abuse and other such issues, so CASA helps them have a voice and also will supervise visits with parents and have their volunteers record information about the parents to help reveal a better understanding in the court of the relationship between parent and child. It's a really, really nice organization.

So we had this event called Footbrawl, basically a football tournament of several teams (mostly fraternities) and they play their tournament all day and pay to get into the tournament. We serve them food for free that mostly generous companies donated to our cause, and give them water and goodies and stuff, we coach them, and ref them, and basically run the whole thing. Their fee to play the tournament goes to CASA.

I was on Donations crew. Basically, I ran around and picked up donations and replentished water all day. Very tiring. Guys can eat so freaking much! I saw one guy with three pieces of pizza in one hand (he was taking bites of all three at once since they were stacked) and an Arby's sandwich in the other. Man, oh man! Can I say calories? And if I ate like that, I would look like.....eww I don't wanna know!

Anyway, I was super impressed with the way my sisters ran Footbrawl, from the one who organized the entire thing to the girls who were the referrees and having to ward off the screaming males armed with mountains of testosterone who didn't agree with their calls.

Anyway, I signed up for classes, so yay! Here is my schedule for the fall semester:

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are all the same, so here's Monday, Wednesday, Friday Schedule:

2:10-3 General Physics Recitation
6-7:40 General Physics Lab

Thursday Schedule:

11-11:50 Cell Biology Recitation
12:10-3 General Chemistry II Lab

So yeah! Fun, fun, fun!

Anyway, I'm off to the gym...I think I'll do my hour on the elliptical and then some weights. I haven't gone to the gym much, with my terrible time management skills. Bleh. So I gotta go get it done! YEAH! Workouts are the ***t!
